Trains in the central area, especially Bat Yam, Rishon Letzion and southern Tel Aviv, were canceled without any notice from Israel Railways, according to the Israel Public Broadcasting Corporation. In one case, one of the passengers fainted due to overcrowding. Later trains suffered heavy overcrowding due to the cancellations.
