Leader of Colorado Public Radio transformation retiring

CENTENNIAL, Colo. (AP) – The leader of Colorado Public Radio for nearly 40 years is stepping down. President Max Wycisk (WHY’-zick) announced Friday that he will retire June 30. He worked as an on-air announcer and program director at CPR’s flagship station when it was connected with the University of Denver before becoming president in 1978.
