Vermont lawmakers seek compromise over state budget

Vermont lawmakers are working to find a compromise with Republican Gov. Phil Scott over the state budget, which he has vowed to veto because of a disagreement over teacher health care plans. But Democratic House Speaker Mitzi Johnson tells Vermont Public Radio (http://bit.ly/2qg4LYi) the House is not ready to cut core principals to reach a deal.
