Japan Returns Home With 333 Whale Carcasses After Antarctic Expedition

For the second year in a row, Japanese whalers returned after an Antarctic expedition with hundreds of minke whale carcasses in what they call ecological research, according to National Public Radio.

“It was great that we have achieved our plan,” Fisheries Agency official Shigeto Hase said at a welcome ceremony.
