The former flatmate and chauffeur of the notorious BBC presenter Jimmy Savile was on Friday jailed for 25 years after being found guilty of a series of rapes and sexual assaults of young girls. A judge in Manchester, northern England, said Ray Teret, a 73-year-old former pirate radio DJ, had “exploited his celebrity” to abuse 11 victims.
