Kansans ponder Brownback’s plea for more time

In 1974, I worked at a college radio station which reported, incorrectly, that former President Richard Nixon had died. The mistake caused quite a stir. The local newspaper wrote about our error, and several of us were suspended from the station. It taught me an important lesson: don’t report what you don’t know.
