PACIFIC SERVICES. WELLINGTON, New Zealand (July 13, 1998 – Radio Australia)—Radio New Zealand’s shortwave service to the Pacific is to be reduced because of budget cuts. A decision to make cuts to the service was made at meetings last week between Radio New Zealand International, Radio New Zealand and the Foreign Affairs Ministry.
