Blind farmer of Scone. “The death has occurred of Mr. Henry William Ashford, aged 70 years. He was afflicted with blindness yet he worked his own property personally for 40 years, and it became one of the best-kept in the district. Mr. Ashford was an expert with an axe, and did his own fencing.
