SK Telecom posted 402.6 billion won ($372.43 million) in operating profit in the first quarter on a consolidated basis, down 17.8 percent from the previous quarter. The fall reflects a hike in marketing expenses caused by the phase-out of admission fees and the expansion of subscriber benefits, the company said in its regulatory filing Wednesday.
