Smart Communications Inc. may soon roll out voice over WiFi (VoWiFi) calls without the need for a separate app. In a statement on Tuesday, PLDT’s wireless unit said it and partner China-based Huawei Technologies Inc. had tested the technology outside Metro Manila.
