MIL-OSI Economics: Samsung and SK Telecom Showcase their Progress on the Journey to 5G

Source: Samsung. Companies are one step closer to 5G commercialization. In June 2018, Samsung Electronics and SK Telecom successfully demonstrated their jointly-developed 5G Next-Generation Core (5G NC) based on 3GPP Release-15 standards. 5G NC operates independently of the LTE network and makes new features available.
