MANILA – Globe Telecom said Friday its board approved an additional $100 million (P5.07 billion) budget for the rest of the year to upgrade its data service. Before the additional funding, the Ayala-led company set aside $750 million for capital expenditures this year, as it sought to deploy more LTE sites and increase 3G capacity.
