Cable broadband and TV provider UPC Ireland is to become ‘more closely aligned’ with the UK’s Virgin Media, Siliconrepublic.com has learned. The head of UPC Ireland will now report to the CEO of Virgin Media.
UPC’s parent company Liberty Global acquired Virgin Media last year in a deal valued at about US$23.
