Oscar statuettes in various stages of the coating process are hung together at Epner Technology in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Jan. 17, 2017. Each statuette is coated in three layers — the final one the iconic gold. Sixty identical gold Oscars were made for the Feb. 26 awards.
