The Official Opening Ceremony was graced by the presence of the Worship Mayor of Walvis Bay Municipality. In his remarks he welcomed Delegates to the Port City Walvis Bay and congratulated SADC Member States namely; Malawi, Mauritius, Namibia and the United Republic of Tanzania for having met the ITU Analogue Switch Off (ASO) deadline.
