The irony is that, with the world closed, and outdoor summer activity coming to an end, people are going to spend a lot of time in front of their TV sets this fall, looking for fresh dramas, comedies, and hybrids to get lost in. And yet the networks will be stalling, promising more to be delivered “soon” — maybe November, maybe midseason, maybe.
