Home hifi: Digital radio roars in retro rig

About 20 years ago I saw a 1950s Bush radio at an auction, a glorious thing with medium wave, long wave and VHF, now known as FM. It had lots of cities listed on the tuning dial, not one of them outside Europe, and the cabinet looked great. It worked fine, and after spirited bidding it was knocked down to me for $18.
